Electrical Stimulation
Electrical stimulation (ESTIM) uses an electrical current to depolarize neurons at the sub-sensory, sensory, and motor levels to create a therapeutic effect. Stimulation of neurons at these different levels can provide patients with pain relief from musculoskeletal conditions or it can be used as a tool for neuromuscular re-eduction, strengthening, and/or improved endurance at the motor level.
